Manufacturing Tech

Location: Victor, NY

Reports To: VP Operations, R&D Department, CEO

FLSA Status: NonExempt (Hourly)

Compensation: $12.00 to $21.00/hour based on experience.


Job Overview

Responsible for manufacturing of goods produced in Rochester, NY. Including, but not limited to: CNC, woodshop, decal making, 3D printing.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Running production orders on 3 Axis shop bot CNC machine. Taking CAD files, creating cutting files, cutting materials, finishing (sanding) materials.

2. Running CAD files on 3D printer.

3. Creating and running decal files on cutter machines.

4. Weeding decals.

5. Run basic shop tools such as drill press, sanders, band saw, table saw, oscillating saw, etc.

6. Packing, labeling products and kits.

7. Managing bills of materials.

8. Assisting with new product development.

9. Basic CAD designing.

10. Pick, Pack, Ship when necessary.

11. General upkeep and cleaning of R&D facility.

12. Fixing facility problems (example: broken door).

13. Assisting in managing facility vendors.

Language Ability

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge or be able to quickly learn and gain knowledge in CAD software, vCarve, Microsoft excel, word, explorer, google chrome.


Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. Technology certificate or A.S. degree preferred.

Personal Assistant (For Executive)

Location: Victor, NY

Reports to: CEO/Founder

FLSA Status: Non Exempt (Hourly)


Job Overview

Primary responsibility is to support the CEO with day to day management of personal and executive life. In this role, there will be a dynamic range of responsibilities to assist the CEO with balancing all demands of running multiple businesses and personal life for one of the top 100 fastest growing companies in Rochester.

Responsibilities and Duties

Executive Assistant:

  1. Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with customers.

  2. Schedule meetings and appointments and manage travel itineraries for internal staff and guests including arranging for transport and accommodation.

  3. Organizing events, conferences and meetings, including planning corporate events and parties.

  4. Maintain an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents.

  5. Manage personal and business calendar.

  6. Attend executive meetings; take notes, track action items and accountability lists.

  7. Maintain office for guests.

  8. Book keeping for CEO and CFO (training will be provided).

  9. Create content for website and social media.

  10. Perform office duties that include, ordering supplies, and maintaining vendors such as cleaning and grounds services.

  11. General administrative support.

Personal Assistant:

  1. Perform a variety of errands for personal household to include dry cleaning, occasional shopping for gifts and food and other as needed.

  2. On occasion, drive children to activities and help manage family calendar and logistics of children’s activities.

  3. Household management including scheduling of appointments to include car and home maintenance and coordinating various vendors for lawn and home care.

  4. Manage personal contact database.

  5. Party & event planning.

  6. Copying and packet creating for family.

  7. Document retention and filing.

Education and Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, organization, history, English, or communications oriented fields.

  • 5 Years of related experience in executive administrative support

Additional Eligibility Qualifications and Skills

  • Ability to multi task and manage multi priorities at once.

  • Fast and quick decision making

  • Extreme executive forward thinking function. Able to see many steps ahead in a logistical process and advise or take over where needed.

  • Upmost confidentiality and discretion

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and well organized.

  • Superior phone etiquette and verbal skills are a must

  • Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills

  • Ability to adapt and learn new technologies

  • Math literacy

  • Proficiency in the use of desktop applications and MS Office, high degree of Excel skills preferred (Windows-based programs).

  • Proficiency in the use of google suite or programs, Gmail, calendar, tasks, keep.

Travel Requirements

  • Local travel by car required daily

  • Minimal out of town trips

  • Most travel will be in Pittsford, Victor, Rochester areas

Environmental Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

  • Typically works in an office with adequate lighting and ventilation and a normal range of temperature and noise level.

  • Work assignments are diversified. Examples of past precedent are used to resolve work problems. New alternatives may be developed to resolve problems.

  • A frequent volume of work and deadlines impose strain on routine basis.

  • Minimal physical effort is required. Work is mostly sedentary but does require walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting or carrying objects that typically weigh less than 30 lbs.

  • Will be required to assist in other areas from time to time, including but not limited to order fulfillment, packing and shipping.
