Production Assistant

Location: Victor, NY

Reports To: VP Operations

FLSA Status: NonExempt (Hourly)

Compensation: $12.00 to $16.00/hour based on experience.

 

Job Overview

Responsible for manufacturing of goods produced in Rochester, NY. Including, but not limited to: Vinyl/Decal cutting, weeding, skateboard production, CNC secondary operations. All responsibilities will be trained on site.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Running vinyl cutters

2. Running small punch press

3. Weeding vinyl

4. Secondary packaging operations

5. Sanding

6. Running files on 3D printer

7. Run basic shop tools such as drill press, sanders, hand held oscillating saw, etc.

8. Packing, labeling products and kits.

9. Managing bills of materials.

10. Assisting with new product development.

11. Pick, Pack, Ship

12. General upkeep and cleaning

13. Assisting in general up keep of facility

Qualifications

Language Ability

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to basic instructions and standard operating procedures, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as trigonometry, geometry, basic algebra, measurement, 3 dimensional visualizations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge or be able to quickly learn basic production software, email, text messaging and whatsapp.

Education/Experience:

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. Technology certificate or A.S. degree preferred.

Warehouse Material Handler

Location: Victor, NY

Job Overview

Responsible for product control of client’s goods in our warehouse from receiving to pick, pack and ship. Also responsible for inventory counts, labeling, consolidation and slotting and general warehouse cleanliness.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Responsible for picking, packing, shipping, and invoicing of customer orders.

2. Consolidation of goods and slotting. Position is responsible to coordinate the material movement of the warehouse through consolidating and slotting stock to allocate room for incoming goods.

3. Receiving of goods. As inventory arrives this position is responsible for all receiving, including, counting, slotting, and brief quality control.

4. System entry of material movements and consolidation.

5. The general cleanliness of the warehouse and inventory is a responsibility of this position.

6. Responsible for labeling, accuracy, and packing of clients shipments.

7. Labeling, counting, quality control of inventory goods.
